A heartwarming act of kindness took place at Tiny Homes when the site director, Shontay Gates, learned that Wellsprings Church, a dedicated volunteer partner with Magdala, was sending missionaries to Uganda to support school-aged children. Motivated by their ongoing relationship and a shared commitment to service, the site director, Tiny Homes tenants, case managers, and her sister initiated a special project: creating handmade bracelets for the children.
This initiative was more than just about making beautiful gifts; it was about giving back to those struggling and needing support. The site director and tenants strongly believed that helping others benefits the recipients and enriches their own lives. Each bracelet symbolized love and solidarity, embodying the spirit of compassion that transcends personal hardships.
The collaboration with Wellsprings Church and this heartfelt project highlighted the profound impact of kindness and mutual support. These bracelets remind us that even small acts of giving can forge connections across communities and bring hope to those in need.
